Landed! Easy flight, superb service, pretty cool seat. First time flying backwards on a commercial jet.
As we were readying for takeoff, I had a moment to appreciate how lucky I am. Sitting on the upper deck, I had a clear sight of the runway - I've never been able to see them so clearly before while on the plane. So many lights showing a clear path. It made me think. It's been a terrible six months, no doubt, but I still have a life where I can take trips like this, a family who loves me and a career that enables me to be where I need to be when I am needed and take breaks like this when the time is right.
