Roxo in London

Sitting here at the airport, the moment here to take off on yet another adventure. Packed for every contingency, the animals cared for, everything checking the nice little boxes, it’s occurring to me how lucky I am, how extraordinary my life is and how awesome my job has become. When people ask what I do, I just light up with joy. Waiting to board, I met the director of the Bush library and his wife…. And they want Roxo to visit! I’m excited to meet the team of folks that will be supporting us, Roxo being treated like royalty! :)

I’m also thinking how much the world has changed since my last trip to Europe; the pandemic - it took and hour and four different websites to get checked in; the terror attacks in London - Roxo and I will be followed by security every where when out on company business. Temperature checks, clear bags to get into buildings, it’s definitely a new world.
