Jackson had training this morning but we’ve made it out for some Thai food for lunch at Lemongrass. We ran into a bunch of the team there as well.

After a long Gangway Jackson and I are finally out in port together! Our last Caribbean port before 8 sea days back to Southampton.

Slight change of plans after the original change of plans. After changing the itinerary to not include the Azores we are now currently docking in the Azores.
Yesterday I came across a passenger sitting on the stairs with her head in her hands. When I asked her if everything was okay she said she has pain in her chest and arm. I called the medical centre and waiting with her until they arrived. Today we found out that we were docking in Praia Da Vitória for a medial evacuation. My manager later told me that it's the woman from the stairs. Hopefully she will be okay and get the help she needs.もっと詳しく

Finally on dry land! We’re having some brunch for Jackson’s birthday! I gave him his present last night and he’ll find the cabin full of balloons after he’s done work.

IPM and gangway and for once very happy I'm on gangway. Today is also crew rounds where they inspect our cabin and drills. Drills however was over an hour late so I finished gangway long before everyone else who had to go to drills. Now for a nice relaxing day before work since I can't go out.もっと詳しく

Today was an awesome day! Jackson had the day off so we got to go out and spend lots of time together out in port. We went to Top Tapas for some pizza which was good. Then we just explored, finding an amazing market, going to a supermarket for some snacks and walking along the harbour front. Now it’s time for a quick nap before work.もっと詳しく

Normally when you're IPM and can't go out in port you are put on gangway in the morning. Today however I'm IPM and not gangway so I got to sleep in until a very hungry boyfriend made me get out of bed to go grab some lunch with him. Today wouldn't have been a great day to get off anyways. There is massive confusion over wether you need your passport or not out in port and it's an early sail today at 4:30pm. Today was a disappointment. I had requested a tour to go to Florence which I didn’t get. So Jackson and I just went out to explore La Spezía instead. There however was nothing here. There was the beginnings of a boat show for the weekend along the harbour but everything everywhere was deserted. There wasn’t much to see, we’re just sitting in the cruise terminal using the wifi to fill in time until we start work. Coming back here I would push harder to get on the Florence tour.もっと詳しく

Another day that did not go as planned. Jackson was going to have the day off and then he applied for deck privileges so he has the night off. He however read his schedule wrong and his day off is in 2 days. So I spent the day in bed. He did finish early so we could have gone out but we decided to save our money for when we have the day together in Cartagena. Tonight however we still have the deck privilege where Jackson's bar manager is paying for us to have dinner in Glasshouse.もっと詳しく

Today was Jackson’s day off that we thought was in on the 31st. Things did not go as planned again however because we were late arriving in Cartagena due to the very late sail in Civitavecchia. We made the most of the time we had however having an amazingly large lunch at the Cotton Grill American restaurant. I had chicken and bacon nachos that I was only able to eat maybe a 1/5 of. We then headed back towards the ship because we had seen some segways during our hunt for a restaurant but when we got there they were all gone. So we headed back to the ship for a movie before work and to continue to work on my nachos.もっと詳しく

Worked in the morning but now off the ship with Jackson for our tradition of going to Standing Orders for brunch. This time we are having to head back for 12:00 though because Jackson is IPM in the afternoon. A great day out in Vigo. It was Fiesta de la Reconquista which celebrates the reconquest of Vigo, by popular uprising, on 28 March 1809 during the Peninsular Wars. All the locals were in period costumes with amazingly detailed stalls set up everywhere. It was huge. We then found a candy store which I said I was just going in “to look”. We however left with a bunch of candy and Jackson’s very first kinder egg. He had never even heard of kinder eggs before. We had fun once we got back to the cabin and had our kinder eggs. Jackson said the chocolate was a bit to sweet (I had no problem finishing it for him) but we had fun with the toys. I got a little teenage mutant ninja turtle and he got a kind of bowling thing with a cat and mice.もっと詳しく
