    I'm off the ship but just for some wifi quickly before running back on to do some cleaning and paperwork. Flam has a mini cruise terminal where they offer wifi for crew and passengers. You don't have to walk through it to get out in port though so only crew know about it.
    Tomorrow was suppose to be my paperwork day because I was IPM but Jackson can get off with me tomorrow and the Spa manager offered to take my IPM for me. So I'll be heading to the office to get it done today.
    I also have cleaning to do because tomorrow is crew rounds and drills. The concession cabins (photographers, spa, casino and shops) have been failing a lot lately for crew rounds so our managers are suppose to come around and inspect the cabins tonight before crew rounds the next morning. Normally I would clean tonight after work but I can't this time.    Les mer

    Worked in the morning and showed the new photographer Claire around the ship. I then had the rest of the day off until drills at 4pm. I've been saving up all my commission to buy myself something special. Today I decided to get myself an apple watch which I picked up today as well.
    Upon returning to work in the evening I discovered that the ship has been invaded by Americans. The Osmonds are on this cruise and there's a large group of 200 Americans here for it.    Les mer

    Had a day of adventures with Claire today. We went to an italian restaurant for lunch. I remembered it from the last time we were in Amsterdam. The went for a walk. We ended up finding a Ripley's Believe It Or Not. We decided to go in since it was a very rainy day and had so much fun, taking lots of pictures with Wall-E, a man-eating clam, and many other interesting things.
    Then we headed to a flower market that Claire really wanted to go to. It was massive and really pretty. We then wandered over to the Anne Frank house. It took us a while to figure out which house it was. We found the museum and then it took a google search from there since the house was a few houses over from there.
    After a day of WAY to much walking we made our way back to the ship. We made plans to go to see the comedian who was performing on the ship in the evening. We both ended up too tired and decided not to go in the end though.

    My final trip to Norway. We've been unable to do our traditional Standing Orders in Southampton much anymore. So Starbucks in Stavanger for wifi has kind of become the new tradition. We get hot chocolates, croissants and get any updates done on our phones and my laptop that we need to. That is where I currently sit with Jackson across from me. He's setting up his new phone that we won in the raffle on the ship.Les mer

    I busy day with embarks and then paperwork in the evening. With all of us finishing at 10pm we all went to Glasshouse for dinner. I had my usual steak which was amazing as always.
    The start of this cruise brought some good news for Jackson. He finally got his promotion to bar steward so he's changing bars to a bar that is on the top deck. So not only does he have a promotion but he's in a really good bar as well.Les mer

    I was not originally IPM here but I traded my IPM so I could have Tenerife off for the crew tour. Lanzarote is a place where it's really only good for getting off and getting some lunch. There's nothing to do here. The first time you come there's the little fort but you only need to see that once.
    Today I also had a meeting as the HESS (Health, Environment, Security, Safety) representative for all the concessions on the ship. So I would not have had much time to get off anyways.    Les mer

    Today is crew rounds and drills. So no sleeping in for me once again. We also start a bit early again today so Claire (American photographer) and I are just going to quickly head to Hard Rock Cafe for some lunch and very much needed wifi right after drills. Naz (photographer) wanted to come with us but she's IPM and Jackson has to work.Les mer

    Embarkation started early today so I once again was not able to get off. I should be morning shift next Southampton though so I can get some shopping done.
    Today was a day of getting ready for the party cruise (1 day cruise). Making sure the gallery has everything it needs and getting prints on the board ready to sell.Les mer

    The party cruise finally ends and the Standing Orders tradition continues. That is where Jackson and I are currently sitting after just finishing lunch. He’s on the phone with his mom and his sister’s fiancé because his sister backed Jackson’s car into a pole this morning. She’s fine but his car has a large dent in the back.
    After this we are just headed back to the ship because Jackson has work at 3pm. I also have to take my new cabinmate who just joined today to training at 3:30pm.    Les mer

    Jackson had to work this morning so we couldn’t get off until just after 12. On our way off we ran into Aliston (production) a friend of ours from Aurora. So we headed out with him and he took us to Kebab Mahal. A restaurant he had been to before. We have to head back for me to start work a bit early though. I’m leading some sales training for the photographers at 3:30.Les mer
