    Carson City, named for Kit Carson, is about 60,000 strong and growing fast. Near Reno and Lake Tahoe's ski resorts, it has much to offer. It has the eastern Sierra Nevada mountains to the west and the Pine Nut mountains to the east. Both rise to 10,000ft, about 5000ft above the valley.Les mer
