    Wild Orchid Tour

    October 10, 2022 in Australia ⋅ ⛅ -6 °C

The morning started bright and sunny, The day was looking very promising for a wild orchid tour by a botanist Dr Paul Armstrong that we met the night before.
There were only 3 couples on the tour and Paul drives us around Tozer's private property to show us wild orchids and explain the flora that we were immersed in.
We saw a total of 21 different species of wild orchids. Many that we have only found in books, some tinier than the little finger in height and some hidden in thick foliage of other plants. How Paul spots them to point them out to us is truly mind blowing.
He also taught us how to use our mobiles to take better pictures of the orchids.
Paul was very informative and knowledgeable.
The pictures of the orchids will have the names as captions.
After the tour, Paul have us a private tour while he mapped out his route for tomorrow's tour.
