Seminyak

We were packed and ready to leave by 630am. Anie came to prepare our last breakfast before Ketut's driver took us to the Rocky Ferry terminal. Kai had a weird vomiting turn before breakfast but thankfully was fine for the rest of the day.
The ferry ride was uneventful and we were met by a driver that Kai had arranged. We got to the Wolas Villa at 11am and although they were told and had agreed to an early check-in, they weren't ready. Since we had time to kill, we wandered down the street for a quick lunch. When we got back to the Villa it was still not ready. Kai and Ruby stayed and waited in the lobby whilst I went in a hunt for a hairdresser to have a haircut. Found a barber that cut my hair for $9. Cheapest haircut ever and my first in about a year.
Once we were in our Villa, it was time to relax, swim, ½ hr massage and a complimentary afternoon tea. This Villa made up for the uneventful ferry ride. Firstly, I rang to ask for pool towels only to find that they were in our bathroom all along, then we reported a leak from the ceiling in the kitchen area which they weren't sure about, the safe wouldn't open and needed a reset and the afternoon tea was late because the gas ran out .

Rejuvenated and fed and watered, we headed to the main street where Kai found her favourite jeweller and Ruby found a tailor to alter a dress into a skirt for $10.
The one time I had not carried my backpack containing our umbrellas, it poured whilst we were in one of the shops. The kind shop keeper allowed us to take refuge in her shop until the rain subsided. We walked quickly to Made Warung for Babi Guling, Tempe crispy and bakso mee.
At Made Warung, there was a special Christmas event where the orphans, who looked like their ages ranged from 4 -17 performed Christmas Carols. Very sweet performance.
Finally, to end our eventful day at the Villa, Kai was locked out of her room because they did a turn down service and locked her keys in the room when they left.Læs mere
