Homeward bound

Fortunately, before we got there, we were told that all the stalls were closed and shutters down at our favourite breakfast venue, Chinatown Complex Food Centre. So we took a taxi from our accommodation directly to Hong Lim Food Centre instead. The taxi driver told us that food centres in Singapore had designated closures for a spring clean, several times a year. Then we saw a huge banner saying Hong Lim will be closed too on the 6/7th of July that confirmed what the driver said.

That was our last Singaporean local food meal. We went to the hospital to say our goodbyes and headed for the airport home.Læs mere
