Kota Kinabalu ~ Borneo Malaysia

A soggy few days spent here;

Day 1 - saw a police chase after a man in the sea, gagged at all the dodgy smells on the markets. Bought weird fruit.

Day 2 - spent the day on Sapi island and Manukan island mainly watching Chinese/Japanese tourists get the perfect selfie of them standing in 2 foot of water wearing life jackets. Also managed to do some snorkelling ourselves and see some nice fish!

Day 3 - trip to Mount Kotabalu, botanical garden and hot springs. Did a little trek up to a canopy which was a dodgy rope bridge really high up in the trees. Also had a dip in a cold spring as the hot springs turned out to be actual bath tubs!

Highlight of the trip here....Finding a Hungarian restaurant called Chilli Vanilla which served the best food, so good we ate here 3 nights in a row! Czytaj więcej
