Luang Prabang

We volunteered for a charity called Big brother mouse and spoke English to some young adults who needed to improve their speaking skills.

We also volunteered at Big Sister mouse which is a school on the outskirts of Luang Prabang. We spoke to children from pre-school up until age 20. The children were very cute and sociable but teaching them some basic English words was very difficult.

Finally, on our last day in Luang Prabang we woke up at 5:30am to see the Monks walking the streets in silence and receiving food from the locals (alms.) We also gave them some sticky rice and cookies. As it was Monks involved (my favourite) I was exceptionally fascinated by the ceremony and I was glad I woke up early to witness it.Читать далее
