Elim dune

We arrived to Sessriem mid afternoon which gave us a bit of time to go hike the first dune of sossusvlei: Elim dune.
With red sand contrasting with the white sand of the plain, the dark shades of the Naukluft Mountains in the background and the dark blue sky, it was the perfect way to end the day.
But, things got interesting when an oryx wandering in the dune parking did a preventive charge to one too curious tourist. Nobody got hurt, but lesson learned, you can be close but not closer 😅Meer informatie
