Matai Bay to Rawena

Rain during the night and in the morning, but cleared up so we could go and see the beautiful beach at Matai Bay. Decided to ski Cape Reinga and go straight to the other side. Caught the ferry ⛴ to cross Hokiango Bay (Kohukohu to Rawena). Now at a beautiful little campsite. View is magnificent. Reminds me of the one we had in Labuan Bajo, Flores, Indonesia (just minus the mosquitos and the boats in the bay and about 15 degrees cooler). Met someone in the campsite kitchen, who‘s touring NZ by bike in 6 months time. 🙌 Czytaj więcej
