Wanaka (1)

We‘re waiting, waiting until the fridge can be fixed. So we got ourselves to the workshop and it turned out that the rental company sent the wrong part for the fridge 🙈 we still decided to get the wrong part exchanged, so we can eliminate this source of error (since we don‘t know exactly what‘s wrong with the fridge).

During the repair we waited in a nearby cafe. First I thought the Kiwi fascination for Pies is strange, but I‘m a fan now, since they put everything in pies, also Green Thai Curry 😂

Finally we were ready to start our day (by 3pm 😏). We headed west of Wanaka to do the Diamond Lake Walk, going up to Lake Wanaka Outlook. It‘s an 1,5 hour return walk. With kids and photo stops, it‘s an 3 hour walk...
