Wanaka to Queenstown

Time to move on again! But first a visit to the Puzzling World. They also have a huge outdoor maze. I think we adults had more fun than Matilda, as all she wanted was to play inside 😂

On the way to Queenstown we passed by some skiing areas and we were questioning, where are the skiing lifts? I guess that we are very spoilt in Austria...

Finally we made it to the campground in Queenstown (the town center was in walking distance, but the campers are packed like Sardines) and it‘s raining and we were not so motivated to get out 😂

Queenstown‘s a cute town and when you find a Louis Vuitton you can bet that there were lots of tourists (especially Asian 😁), but the good thing: you find decent Asian food, too. So we ended up at a Vietnamese restaurant at the water front and the Beef Pho was delicious!

Also an ice cream always finds some space in the belly 😄 Matilda’s kiddy cone was huuuge and I was like, ok we‘re sharing 😂

Luckily the weather improved and it stayed dry. The kids had a great time at the playground by the lakeshore and we also witnessed a lovely sunset. Good night Queenstown.Read more
