Sweating the hell out of us

Garden District is one of the first destinations of tourists in New Orleans. Quoting Edgard: "what is special about this place? Père-Lachaise cemetery is much nicer" explains a bit what it means to have large expectations... we also tried po-boy for lunch and decided to not call it delicacy. But, hell, how hot it was! I could even not imagine that I forget the full itinerary once idea of cool pool is presented to me :)

Garden District (záhradná štvrť) je jedným z prvých cieľov turistov navštevujúcich New Orleans. Čo znamená mať príliš veľké očakávania vystihuje asi najlepšie Edgarov výrok:" čo je na tomto mieste tak výnimočné? Cintorín Père-Lachaise v Paríži je oveľa lepší." (Lejúc si na hlavu zvyšok vody z flaše)... tu sme tiež vyskúšali miestnu špecialitu po-boy a rozhodli sme sa ju nezaradiť na zoznam delikaties. Ale aké neskutočné teplo bolo! Ani som si nevedela predstaviť že je možné že by som mohla zabudnúť celý plán na najbližšie hodiny len čo mi bude prezentovaná myšlienka bazénu so sviežou vodou.. :)Read more
