Still trekking

The fields today were full of chilli plants, aubergines, mountain rice, pumpkins, garlic as well as many other foods found only in this region.

There is very little machinery used, the most advanced seems to be an ox and plough. The farmers head to the fields at sunrise and return home just before dusk. Its back breaking work at times but theypadre probably happier than people who stare at a computer screen for 9 hours a day.Read more
