Playa de Los Camarones

We all pile up in the minivan, Eduardo, his wife Yadira Africa (pronounced Jadira of course, haha), daughter Alejandra, and son Eduardo Junior, one of the chihuahuas and of course Yelapa. We drive to Playa de Los Camarones. It is halfway between Vallarta Torre and the Malecón. You get to it from the same road that takes us downtown. I don't know why we never went there. Very cute beach. Right on the beach is Barracuda restaurant. You sit under umbrellas right on the beach. We ordered ceviche, guacamole, and I ordered a cazuela with marisco. The food was not outstanding, but good. The setting was priceless. Yelapa played in the sand like a maniac. She was so happy. I got to know Eduardo and his family.
