San Diego Day 5 - Downtown

I finally make it to downtown in daylight, walking around the financial district and the old part called Gaslamp Quarter. Up the hill is Balboa Park, where the zoo is also located, now the largest concentration of museums outside the Smithsonian, in turn off the century exhibition buildings.
