A day on the Coast

Great birdwatching today at a lake and the piers. Seaside towns, piers, piers, beach, more beach… I also visit a Monarch Butterfly Grove. These large butterflies migrate between the north Pacific coast and Mexico. They spent the winter either in Mexico or in Southern California. There are about 200 sites in California, about 16,000 of the butterflies are in this grove.Читать далее
