Driving Day

Lots of driving today as I leave New Mexico and travel back to Arizona. Definitely on the way home now, so to speak. On the way, I visit yet another small Ghost Town called Shakespeare. This was a very lawless place where they actually hanged people in the stagecoach station for lack of trees around, so at some point, they changed the name for marketing purposes. I also visit the Amerind Foundation, a museum for Indigenous Art and modern art. No photos allowed there, but the carpets of yellow flowers in the hills in that area were fantastic.Read more
