Alabama Hills / Driving to the coast

Today I drove over 600 km to get to the coast, from desert to sea. A stop in the Alabama Hills, granite formations with a fantastic view of the Sierra Nevada. A short stop at Red Rock Canyon but the sun was all wrong. All in all a journey through climate zones: desert, high desert, lush grassy hills, Central Valley agriculture and oil fields, then more lush hills down to the ocean.Read more
