Elk Island NP

After a morning of biking for some and working on getting settled back into the house, I take Stephan’s friend Reno and his son Carlo, who will go to school in Edmonton for 6 months, to Elk Island National Park. We walk along Astotin Lake and get really lucky at Bison Loop on the way back: we see a large herd of Plains Bison up close! Elk Island is one of the few places that has herds of both Woods and Plains bison.Читать далее
