Navajo Nation

The Navajo Nation is the largest reservation and indigenous people in the US, spending a large part of Arizona and parts of Utah, Colorado and New Mexico. I’ve spent a lot of time driving through over the last couple of weeks, but the area around Canyon de Chelly is the heart of it. I’ve learned a lot about the history and life of the Navajo. I visited the Capital Window Rock, the museum there, Hubbell Trading Post National Historic Site. At trading posts, Indians traded their craft and produce for Western goods in the past.
