    The Navajo Nation is the largest reservation and indigenous people in the US, spending a large part of Arizona and parts of Utah, Colorado and New Mexico. I’ve spent a lot of time driving through over the last couple of weeks, but the area around Canyon de Chelly is the heart of it. I’ve learned a lot about the history and life of the Navajo. I visited the Capital Window Rock, the museum there, Hubbell Trading Post National Historic Site. At trading posts, Indians traded their craft and produce for Western goods in the past. Then onward to Gallup, main trading center in Indian Arts and Crafts on Route 66 / I-40.Read more
