Brugge

Today, we farewelled our fellow cyclists on the bike barge tour - four headed back to Amsterdam, one to Ghent, and the remaining seven of us shared a taxi to Brugge. It was a scorching 34° in Brugge yesterday! Plans to climb the 366 steps of the Belfry of Bruges and cruise the canals were postponed to tomorrow understandably. We had a very relaxing day keeping cool. There was a triathalon in Brugge today...of all days! We watched a little of it earlier in the afternoon and then watched the end. Even at 10:30pm when the last competitors staggered in, it was still about 30°!!Leggi altro
