Today we are in Tallinn, capital of Estonia on the Baltic Sea. It has a walled, cobblestoned Old Town as well as its 15th Century defensive tower, Kiek in de Kök. We visited Tallinn's Upper Town, passing ancient walls and tower gateways. We walked along the medieval cobblestoned streets to a viewpoint over the Lower Town rooftops before we descended to the Lower Town where we were treated to a typical Tallinn lunch followed by a concert of medieval music in St Nicholas Church. A very enjoyable day in the lovely Old Town of Tallinn.Read more

Stockholm city, the capital of Scandinavia, is spread across 17 islands. It has beautiful buildings and architecture, cobblestoned streets, gabled old townhouses, and a 17th Century palace watching over the harbour. Fantastic restaurants, cafés, laneways and skyline. Visby is the Island if Gotland's capital city. The first thing that catches your eye when arriving at the Port of Visby is the impressive cathedral and all the rooftops of the stone buildings in the town, surrounded by the mighty medieval town wall with its towers. Visby began in the Viking Age, followed by a Medieval period and the growth of the Hanseatic League. Today, it is best known as the Town of Roses and Ruins and one of Sweden's most popular vacation destinations. A great choice for our last port on this cruise.Read more
