This summers adventure is to experience the upcoming total eclipse with a nautical spin. Our first total eclipse witnessed together was in 2017. We took a road trip to Pigeon Forge, Tennessee for the weekend and witnessed the August 21, 2017 total solar eclipse in a Knoxville field. Years later, on April 8, 2024, we watched another total eclipse from our front yard in Ohio.
Each experience reminded us how incredible it feels to pause, look skyward, and share a rare moment with the people around us. This summer we’re putting combining our latest cruising hobby with an opportunity to view an Eclipse at sea!
To kick off the summer adventure, we begin with a 2 weeks among the turquoise waters of the Bahamas and Turks and Caicos, exploring new ports and adding more stories to our travel journal. Then our journey turns north toward the British Isles and Iceland, where we will chase the total solar eclipse and explore more ports and bustling cities.
This voyage brings together two things we treasure: discovering new places and experiencing moments we will remember for years to come.Read more
