Fireworks display with many many others. Took about 1 hour just to get back on the subway. But the fireworks were amazing :)

For swimming, eating and strolling around I went to the American Village in Chatan. This time I took the bus... it's kind of too hot to cycle ;)

I booked a bus day-trip tour, which took me after a brief stop at Kouri Island to Churaumi Aquarium. I could see the big Whale-Sharks and many other cute water animals :)
Tadere Falls

Went river-trekking to a waterfall (Ta Taki or Tadere). Was lots of fun and in the end I could swim in cold refreshing water :)

Today again by bus I went to Onna, another all town with a lovely Soba Restaurant and great Mango Shaved Ice :) The main reason I came was of course the Elephant rock and the beach ;)

I went to the Doraimon Museum near Tokyo and learnt a lot about the blue robot cat. Enjoyed some yummy Mr. Donut Halloween sweets on the way. What a nice time :)

It’s a lovely little quiet city. I never saw more than a few people at all these sightseeing spots (I visited during weekdays though).

Since I wanted to enjoy white Christmas, I went to see the snow monkeys near Yudanaka. I hoped to see them bathing in the hot springs, but they seem to just go into the water, when it’s really cold.もっと詳しく
