After two days of hitch-hiking we arrived in Coober Pedy, an old opal mining town. We visited a opal museum and camped for one night at the Opal Inn.

We got a ride in a tourbus with a cool Australian-Danish family. They showed us a salt lake and an emu family. After they dropped us off in Port Augusta, there was a beautiful sunset waiting for us :)

Great Ocean Road

We hitchhiked to Mt. Gambier and took a short walk to the Blue Lake.
The next day we made our way to the Great Ocean Road and could take a look at the "Twelve Apostels".

Compared to busy Queenstown, Wanaka is a small relaxing place. We stayed for one night, enough to take a break at the lake and in a cosy café.
Haast

Haast is a really lonely place, if there wasn't any sandflies. They kept us company and busy at the beach and the campsite...But still, it's a beautiful place.
Fox Glacier
