New Brighton is just a few kilometers from our place and it's a great place to spendca few hours at the beach. Some people are brave and still put their feet in the water. Not me ;)

We went for one day to a Steampunk Festival in Oamaru. On the way we saw our first New Zealand snow :)

I went for a weekend-trip to Lake Tekapo. On the way there we stopped for a hike to a waterfall and visited the Cookie-Time store as well :)

I got an invitation for Christmas Eve from my friend from Canada. So I went to her house to eat homemade turkey and open christmas crackers. It nearly felt like at home :)
