Here for two days in this loud and crazy city whilst getting prepared for Nepal. Didn't do sightseeing at all...
From here we had to cross the border by foot and then make our way to find the next bus.
Many stairs... but at the top, we met monkeys in every corner and had a wonderful view.
Many temples are gathered together here. But not just here you can see the effects of the earthquake.
Tried to see the Himalayas. It was more or less sucessful :) But anyway, the visit to this small villiage was definitely worth the 5 hours journey on the bus (one way).
It's the sister city of Kathmandu and just a few minutes away by bus. Today and tomorrow is Gai Jatra (Cow-Festival), so it was so busy at Durbar Square. We got a blessing from some Tibetan monks.
