Another area of natural beauty is the Cotswolds
With distinctive cottages, many extremely old.
Sporting small doored entrances & roofs thatched
The quaintness of these villages totally unmatched.
Drove along shady narrow roads that twist and wind
Observing all our surroundings whatever we find.
Many places full of visiting tourists so we didn’t stop
Found ourselves in front of the Diddlysquat Farm shop.
There, folk were patiently waiting 3 hours in a queue!
Just for the chance of purchasing a Hawkstone brew.

Onto Amersham for our last evening together stay.
