    Cuddling kangaroos & rugged coastline

    May 5, 2018 in Australia ⋅ ⛅ 16 °C

Windy, but beautiful.. That's Tasmania for you!
Took a walk along the tessalated pavement at Eaglehawk neck. Back in the day this only 30m wide strip of land served as a natural barricade to prevent convicts from escaping the prison settlements.. Now it's just a popular tourist attraction :)
Not far away from here the rough waters of the South Pacific show their impact on the land's coastline: several blow holes called 'Devil's kitchen' or the 'Tasman Arch' are breathtaking to watch!
Finished the day with some cuddly kangaroo session and learned quite a bit about the infamous Tasmanian Devil (the name is well-deserved)!
