    Bastion Point overlooks the Waitemata Harbour and has beautiful panoramic views of the city. I got off the bus here and walked around and then down along the foreshore. Hardly anyone was around... it was very peaceful.The memorial is for Michael Joseph Savage, one of New Zealand’s most popular leaders.Read more
