San Diego CA to JFK, NYC

We left early in the morning for San Diego, flew to NYC where we took a verrry long subway ride from JFK to NYC (2+ hours). The sights you see on the NYC subway, many are disgusting, scary or just plain depressing. And then there are the beautiful old tile work of days gone by.

We stopped to look at the many poster of Israelis there being held as hostages. Many of the posters have been defaced. A disgrace.

Then there are old favorites, like Sabrett hot dog stands ... what we always knew to be "dirty water hot dogs" giving them their taste!

Finally got to our hotel, right near the famous Barney Greengrass. Only in NYC do you hear the fire engines and garbage trucks all night as well as all the deliveries and see the streets lined up with "stuff" overnight that magically get into stores and offices early in th emorning.Baca selengkapnya
