What's in Ajaccio?
- Its the birthplace of Napoleon Bonaparte
-Musee Fesch - most important French museum after the Louve
- We had a tour planned to see this and more BUT instead had a lecture on Italy and then one on Early Modern Habsburg-Ottoman Rivalry
-WHY? Because we could not dock (see photos) as we were stuck in the harbor with many other boats and ferries that were not allowed in due to a dockworkers strike by unionized transport workers! Next time ..
