A unique phenomenon of nature 160' below the surface!
Harrison's Cave is an amazing gallery of stalactites hanging from the roof of the cave, and stalagmites that emerge from the ground, with streams of running water and waterfalls. The stalactites and stalagmites were formed over thousands of years and in some places the stalactites have reached down to the stalagmites and a spectacular pillar has been formed.

We traveled through much of the caves by a small tram and got out at certain points to get a closer look. One main area of the caves is a huge cavern, termed "The Great Hall", measuring over 50 feet in height. After the great Hall we saw "The Village" where some of the formations have joined to form columns after thousands of years. Other areas included "The Chapel," "The Rotunda," and "The Altar."
