Lee Arrives for 8 Days in the "WINTER"

Day 1-3: Lee arrived today in time to do some shopping for clothes, doctors appointment, and Chinese for dinner. He came bearing gifts of books for us (very cool). We got up early the next day, walked the new pond, caught up on many topics, watched a zoom on Israel ceasefire, began preparations with Lee for his Israel trip and celebrated Shabbat with Central Synagogue and enjoyed a “romantic” Valentines dinner at home. Next day we got up early (6am) for Special Mishkan Services for Disability Month at Central Synagogue and became much more educated on what being disabled means in this Country. Went out to pick lemons from our lemon tree in the backyard and made lemon juice and sause to be used in dinner and lemonade! We spent the evening at our favorite theater, The GEM (truly a gem), where we saw a fabulous production of a sad show, End of the Rainbow, about the last years of the Judy Garland's life.Weiterlesen
