Special Visitors Today

Ed & Lilia Solorzano came to visit. This was very special for many reasons. They have been dear, old (meaning for many years) friends from California and two of the warmest, sincere, interesting and loving people we know. I met Ed on my first trip outside the U.S. in 1985 and we have not let physical distance stop us from allowing our families to remain close friends for 40 years. Karen made a delicious lunch with 3 salads, and we talked nonstop all day. Early evening was spent on plans with Lee for travel together and Central Synagogue programming. We then went to Frisby’s, our favorite watering hole where we all enjoy tastings of their wines and of course bring some home (Frisby is the closest commercial business to our home … we may run out of eggs and gas but never wine). The evening was highlighted by Lee cooking dinner. He made some of his specialties: Grilled Chicken & Lemon Orzo Salad and Thai Chicken Coconut Soup.. YUMMY!Baca selengkapnya
