Musical Instrument Museum (MIM) Phoenix (1 of 4)

Most of the day was enjoyed exploring MIM, a one of a kind museum. We were there once before and still enjoyed many hours there again. As Lee said, "it is a wonderful place, why aren't we members!!" Of course, maybe because it's a 6 hour drive from home to Phoenix.

MIM ia the world's largest museum of musical instruments, featuring over 15,000 instruments from nearly 200 countries. Every country is represented with local instruments and descriptions as well as video of locals playing them. There are some incredibly rare and valuable instruments that are not seen anywhere out of their local communities around the world. We took over 400 photos (and that was just a small sampling of every instrument) here but of course we only are posting 100 here.Leggi altro
