    What better way to enjoy a day with friends, Cindy and John, visiting from Arizona, than at the Festival of the Arts.

    After an evening with them in Mission Viejo, visiting the homes where they lived prior to moving to Mesa, we had a fabulous meal at Hacienda on the Lake. We also showed them the new developments being built in our neighborhood and checked out the 10 new model homes there and the newly opened clubhouse, The Club, which has been open only one week and we have been to 4 times. It is a great place for Community Activities.

    The next day we enjoyed time at the Festival of the Arts. We began with the Festival Art Show, always an incredible display from local Laguna Beach area artists that are often world renowned for their work. With 124 wonderful artists, it is impossible to begin to write about what we loved of each of their works. We loved the ceramics, sculptures, glass works, drawings, paintings, pastels and of course the photography. We have included photos of a few of our favorite pieces from this year but there were so many more that we loved and would put in our house if we had 10,000 sq feet! Always such a fun event in particular when the weather was so perfect today and we get to enjoy it with good friends.    Read more
