Marathon Key

Spent two nights at Glunz hotel at Key Colony Beach on Marathon Key. This is the most we've paid for a hotel since we started our trip, just over $300/night. We needed to stay here a couple of nights because Kim's passport had to be UPS'd to use overnight. (Hotels were over $350/night in Key West.) This is a nice place though. If you just wanted to get away from everything and relax, this would be a good place to go. Everyone else must think the same thing, we got the last room available when we checked in.

Key West was nice and warm yesterday. We finally made it down to the old part of town on this trip. Walked around town then over to the southern most point in the continental US. Walking back, we stopped to have lunch (mainly to give our feet a rest, we were getting blisters from our sandals.) Ended up spending about four hours walking around Key West before heading back to our hotel.Baca selengkapnya
