Day 3 of class in Martin

At today's "Walk and Talk" we formed a baking group where we discussed some of our favorite recipes. We covered a few English baking terms and discussed how to convert recipes from English to metric units. We even started a WhatsApp group so we could share recipes with each other.

Stacy had another wonderful day with her boys. They created a video commercial for a Slovak candy called Alaska. On their walk, they went to the small village store where the boys had fun pointing out their favorite Slovakian sodas. All of them had a great time!

Majka and her husband Mickey invited several of us to a wonderful dinner at their home. We were treated to a variety of delicious Slovakian food and drinks followed by homemade cakes by Katka and Majka for dessert. After dinner, we went on a walk through the fields behind their home, accompanied by their daughter Rebeka and dog Rocky. The sunset was spectacular!
