Day 16 comments

Took the day very peacefully. It was hard leaving Andrew and Mary as we were having a great chat. I took it easy, missed a turnoff and did a few extra km to Pinedale. In Pinedale had another breakfast and replaced chain and brake pads. Finally got new shorts that were not torn.

Continued peacefully and did around 140km for the day.

I see I'm carrying too much food again... Fear of being hungry maybe? For supper I had freeze dried food, it was supposed to be 2 servings but wasn't quite enough.

I've entered the Great Basin so water is going to be in short supply for a while.Read more
