Phum Phnŏu

First stay in Cambodia!
I don't know what I was expecting but it did give me a surprise.

I thought it would be very similar to Thailand and in a way it was. However the infrastructure that exists in Thailand simply does not exist in Cambodia.The poverty was a lot more apparent than I anticipated.

That being said I really enjoyed my short time there. I definitely feel like I could do more. The atmosphere i found to be a lot more relaxing than Thailand and the people were a lot less obnoxious.

As usual I met some cool people and explored the numerous temples with them. Angkor Wat is pretty interesting for sure and so were all of the other temples. They are much different than anything ive seen before. If you considering the scale of everything in the area it is all pretty impressive.Read more
