Magnetic Island

I fell in love with this Island and would love to go back. You can take your car over there, which is very handy, and there are lots of different walks/hikes that you can do. The many beaches are beautiful. Best walk was the hike up to the Forts. Steep but we’ll worth it for the view. Best beach would have to be Alma Bay. Great spot for a swim and explore. We stayed at Peppers Nelly Bay which was great because we had access to great restaurants and close to the ferry and marina. I would like to try and stay at Florence Bay next time. This was a really lovely little spot also with some great little cafes and restaurants.Read more
