9 Jun Lugo to Sarria

Decided to break the “no breakfast” tradition and took the 4 star hotel breakfast. Meet Mandy from Perth whose camino I had been following who was now travelling with her husband so I put them onto Las Medulas. Enjoyed the fine morning in Lugo with the excellent free Municipal Museum - Picasso, Chagall, Miro, Velasque, whole corridor of sundials, mosaics and paintings by modern spanish artists ( many from Pontevedra).
Quick bus trip to Sarria where i met Lynn and Sabine from Brisbane. I was staying on the edge of the modern town but once going up the steep steps to the main street, it was a surprisingly nice place. Met the Brisbane girls for dinner up there and enjoyed grilled veges and pollo a la plancha.Leggi altro
