Salerno to Tropea

Once again the italian public transport worked well and I arrived mid afternoon in Tropea. Passed many hill top ruined castles, fields of melons and small vegetable farms. Calabria has a more raw rustic and remote feel and the people are darker skinned and speak little english.
Had a gelato ( not the salami one or the Tropea onion one), admired the view of Santa Maria dell’Isola.Read more
