Chobe National Park, Botswana

After a short drive, and interesting border crossing we are in Botswana. Our final stop for 2 nights. The Kubu lodge is a charming camp like experience! The baboons and warthogs kept us entertained for the morning and through lunch. Then it was off for an early evening game drive with our guide John. Chobe Park surprised us with yet another very different landscape. Red sand, breathtaking views, and many skeleton bones were a first for us. So many elephants along the spectacular Chobe river, along with hippos and water buffalo. A very up close view of this large lion resting was certainly exciting.
