One more day in Peru. What a beautiful city Lima is. Such an interesting combination of old and new all in this big city. 27 kms of what's known as "the green coast" for its lush sea wall, also place of "Parque de Amour". A tribute to the mayors young wife. Another pre Inca (800bc) site, 18 Hectares! in the middle of the city! The very first known creation of aqueducts. Driving through modern city, to center town where so much beautiful baroque architecture is still visible and protected. Olive trees and original equipment used to press them to harvest the olive oil. Finally a visit to St.Franciscan monastery, with so much symbolism and unbelievable history. We went underground, to the ancient crypts where over 1600 burials were discovered! Welcomed back onboard by the captain at our bus 😂Baca lagi
