Cairo by ourselves

Decided on a quiet day. In the morning Lyn went shopping and Ian went back to the Cairo museum before we all headed off to the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization. This is where the 22 mummies that were found in 2 separate caches (found 1891 & 1898). It is believed that they were moved from their original tombs to protect them from grave robbers.
